This stone has been lashed by the sea, home to the worms and sea life, thrashed by the waves. I love the shape of the stone. It feels like a reminder to stay centred.
This mosaic consists of stone, slate and stone made with recycled pigmented mortar.
The stone and slate were collected in Ireland and hand cut. On a bed of pigmented adhesive, the slate and tesserae have been placed in circular shapes around the heart shaped stone.
